Welcome to the beautiful region of the Vendee, located in Western France which boasts many exquisite features including wonderful weather, beautiful countryside and spectacular coastline/beaches, to name but a few . There are also many attractions just a stone’s throw away to accommodate anyone looking for their ideal, relaxing holiday, for example Puy du Fou, Futuroscope and the interesting city of Nantes .
The Vendee is renowned for the amount of sunshine (second only to the Cote d’Azur), which guarantees anyone a super holiday! With our beautiful pool and toddlers beach in the garden there are plenty of reasons to stay onsite for the day and enjoy the facilities. The perfect day can be completed by enjoying one of our tables d’hotes, a delicious and varied meal prepared by ourselves.
As a famous man once said, ‘I had a dream’ well this was ours and we are fulfilling it every day at Le Bois Berranger, this is our 6th successful season in this beautiful part of France so why not visit us and experience the fantastic culture that surrounds us, you will not be disappointed.
It is very accessible to get to Le Bois Berranger - journey times from various ferry ports are 3 hours St Malo, 4 hours Caen, 4.5 hours Cherbourg or why not take a budget flight to Nantes or La Rochelle from London. Nantes airport is 50 minutes away and La Rochelle is within 2 hours.

Apartments
We have a large detached house located in the countryside but just 5 minutes from the coast) which can be rented as a whole or as 2 separate gites.
Bed & Breakfast
Two bedrooms are available as chambres d'hotes (B&B) so you can stay 1 night or more if you are touring the country.
Mobile Home
Situated within our grounds, there is a well appointed luxury mobile home which is fully equipped and has 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin), well equipped kitchen, dining area, and large lounge.
It has a separate wc, bathroom with shower cubicle Outside there is a gorgeous decked terrace overlooking the swimming pool with table, parasol, and chairs.
All of our accommodation are immaculately presented, well appointed and modern and light. We have added personal touches such as microwaves, dishwashers, fridges, coffee machines etc, endeavouring to make it very comfortable for all our guests and a home from home. The gites are self- sufficient so that guests have everything they need within their accommodation. There are also restaurants nearby of which we can recommend or why not take advantage to join in our Table d’hote meals that we can provide – see more details on above heading of Table D’Hotes.
